TrexAir Aviation Academy partners with Angel Flight West to put even more purpose into the flights. AFW assists patients with getting around California and Oregon to medical appointments far from their home. Our goal is to introduce you to Angel Flight West, transport patients when we can, and hope you continue volunteering with AFW once you achieve your certificates.
Throughout your training you will fly 1000’s of miles, why not help someone in need during 50 or 60 of those?

It’s time to slow down aviation training and rememember WHY we do this. TrexAir’s Cross-Country training flights include destinations such as museums, restaurants, camping, hiking, sight-seeing and much more! Did you know McClellan Airfield (KMCC) in Sacramento is home to the Aerospace Museum of California? Or Nancy’s Airport Cafe at Willows Airport (KWLW) has one of the best pulled pork sandwiches around. Or fly in to Columbia CA (O22), tie your plane down and walk into town to Fallon’s Ice Cream Parlor. Our list of destinations is endless. Oh, the places you’ll go!
